Enrollment Process

General Admission Requirements

The school requires that each student enrolling in a KC Beauty Academy program must:

  • Submit a completed Admissions Application.

  • Provide government issued ID.

  • Provide proof of secondary education such as a high school diploma, a GED certificate, an official transcript showing secondary school completion, or a state certification of home-school completion. Should an enrolling student provide a foreign high school diploma, the student is responsible for obtaining an English translation of the document along with confirmation that the education received is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma.

You may apply online or you may stop by the KC Beauty Academy campus during regular business hours and obtain an Admission Application in person.

What better way to get a feel for the experience you are about to embark upon than by visiting our school? Once you submit your application, an appointment will be made for you to meet with one of our admission counselors. This will give you a perfect opportunity to observe class, learn more about our school and programs, and make sure that KC Beauty Academy is indeed the right beauty college for you! You will have a chance to ask us whatever questions you may have and we will help you determine which program is best suited to you.

Upon completion of the above steps, it will be time to finalize your enrollment by filling out the Enrollment Agreement.

KC Beauty Academy offers monthly start dates.

How long will it take to complete the Cosmetology program?

The Cosmetology program is designed to be completed in 6 months (full-time).

Do you have financial aid?

Yes! We are approved by the United States Department of Education to offer federal financial aid to those who qualify. We also have monthly payment plans available.
